The Window.
How do we make sure we're available for the opportunity?
The Window.
How do we make sure we're available for the opportunity?
Hey Friend,
Today's story is brought to you by Father Sky. Funny that he showed up in last week's story, and again today. I don't pre-plan my stories. I just snap a photo and let the story come to me.
So when the sky theme shows up two weeks in a row, my antennas are up and I'm paying attention. I hope you are too. There's a message here and it's one that I'm going to attempt to unearth in today's dialogue.
This post is being published on Friday, November 11, 2022, a pivotal portal day known as 1111, just three days post lunar eclipse. It has been an intense week.
This year has been dark for many people, myself included. I know countless individuals who released family members, friends, partners, acquaintances, jobs, beliefs, homes, you name it.
To say that this has been a year of loss and gain would be right. And yet, the darkness we associate with loss can feel overwhelming, despairing and often times, just plain dark.
Just because winter feels like it lasts longer than normal, doesn't mean that spring will be delayed.
What can we do to prepare for the window of opportunity that is sure to arrive?

The storm is brewing, and brewing and...
Wouldn't it be easier and faster to just hear the roaring thunderclap and feel the ground shake beneath your feet to release some of this relentless pressure?
"I just don't know what to do with them anymore..."
The sky talked out loud to the wind, his dearest friend.
"It's like they just don't see the signs. No matter what I do, nothing changes."
Despair slowly crept into his faith throughout the years. He felt like he tried it all, and nothing seemed to stir humanity out of the fear driven slumber. He was giving up hope.
"I'm tired."
"I know dear friend, it will pass, just as surely as it arrived." said the wind.
Although sky had a beautiful view of everyone and everything, he frequently missed key details.
While he was admiring people at the beach, the sand blew in a different direction, and the waves created the most incredible formations, dancing with the wind.
While he watched children playing, he missed the birds bathing.
While he worried himself with the millions of people who were focused on what they didn't have, he missed the many hundreds of thousands who were changing things for themselves and helping others do the same.
He lost his focus and missed what matters most, the people who were interested in hearing from him, asking for his help and seeking his guidance.
Then one day, he spotted a girl who seemed despondent. Standing beneath a dark and dreary sky, she looked up and said her prayers, just as she did every day.

She taught the sky a valuable lesson.
The bird's eye view is wonderful, but it lacks intimacy.
Into-me-I-see.
It doesn't matter how dark it has been, nor how long it has been dark. The clouds always part, and the opening always brings gifts of awareness.
The girl saw the window and used the opportunity to reinforce her faith, rather than wallowing in the heaviness of the energy she had been working through.
Later that night, she was startled awake by someone loudly knocking on her door, waking her from her deep slumber, only to realize that she literally dreamt of opportunity knocking!
"How funny, I literally prayed for a new opportunity earlier today!" she thought.
The Lesson
Looking up is always helpful, and looking around ensures you are present, but don't forget to look within.
There are many windows.
In the skyThe Soul.Within the eyes. The heart. The yoni.Through pain and grief.Hidden inside every tear.
One might say that windows are portals to our own feelings, leading us deeper into ourselves and what we are truly capable of.
That is the most powerful portal of all and it is always open.
If you find yourself with an opportunity that presents itself in your life, but you feel torn by the fork in the road, ask yourself this one question...
"If today were the last day of my life, would I regret having taken this or would I regret not having taken it?"
p.s. Windows always circle back, sometimes in a different form. Fate is like a train, it always comes back around.
I’d love to hear your thoughts on today’s tale.
